The rise of open source CFML engines over the past couple years has given me the opportunity to build personal projects in CFML. Previously, the licensing cost of Coldfusion from Adobe was just too much for an individual to bear.
For several months I had been using Open BlueDragon, but recently decided to give Railo a try. So far, I'm really liking the concept of Railo Webs. A Railo web is really nothing more than a website configuration (In my case, a host entry in Tomcat). The nice thing about Railo, is that it gives you a web-based administrator specific to each web. So I'm able to define datasources, mappings, etc. for each site.
I only wish they'd try a new color scheme for their error messages. Yellow backgrounds should be outlawed. I guess that's one more incentive for me to write error free code ;-)
